EURUSD had another bullish week. The pair did come down, but went up again. The last Friday’s news events helped pair have enough fuel and make that move. Let us now have a look at the schedule of next week’s high impact news events that might create volatility on EURUSD.
Tuesday-15th August 2017- 12.30 GMT
- Core retail sales m/m
- Retail sales m/m
This high impact news event’s data often creates long spikes on the intraday time frames. It is very likely that this week EURUSD might get very volatile during this news event.
Wednesday-16th August-2017-12.30 GMT
- Building permits
It is a high impact news event, but not always creates extreme volatility. However, intraday EUROUSD traders should look for trading opportunities once this news hour is finished.
Wednesday-16th August-2017-14.30 GMT
- Crude oil inventories
EURUSD traders should always care about this news event to find out trading opportunities. It does not always get that volatile, or create that many opportunities, but intraday traders could get their stop loss hit if they let their intraday entries run during this news event.
Wednesday-16th August-2017-18.00 GMT
- FOMC meeting minutes
This is going to be the biggest news event for the EURUSD traders next week. Traders must not let their intraday entries run during this news event, but look for opportunities once the market is settled.
Thursday- 17th August- 12.30 GMT
- Unemployment claims
This may not create as many opportunities as it normally does because of FOMC. Nevertheless, EURUSD intraday entries should be taken care before this news event.
